That pitcher caught my eye as well...perhaps some European colonization influence since it was late 19th century..
...it's wonderful that many pieces still survive.
I only spent time in 3 museums on this trip...oh, not counting the Georgia O'Keeffe one...3 with ancient pottery! There must be a whole lot that never got to museums, as well as in all the other collections.
Such an interesting exhibit. I love seeing all the detail on the pottery.
I needed to look closely at pottery as it was developed by these ingenious people.
