A couple of little lidded pots

I just had a thought! What if there are only 20 bloggers left out there, just talking to each other and assuming there are hundreds more, but they've all gone off to twit each other, or pin, or just lurk on FB? Nah.

These were made with recycled clay, mostly speckled brownstone, fired to cone 6 electric kiln.

I hope these will sell for $25-$28.  When making them I made the lids first, then found which pots would fit to them.  Kind of ask backwards, no?

Jars and creamers packed up

It was pretty easy to pack these into a medium size tupperware tub...where they will be non-dust-collectors, and ready to go to some sales venue when it should present itself.

I've a few left of these vegetable-inspired jars...simple and functional.

I wish I felt up to working in clay.  Just recuperating, day after day.  The hours just are gone, and I've accomplished nothing. Another deep breath is such a joy, without the choking hacking.  So tired all the time.  Depressed too, of course.  Beautiful weather outside doesn't speak enough to me to get me to enjoy it.  Time to work on the gratitude list!

Most of them went to the Tailgate Market here in Black Mountain.
