Flame Azaeas and a different Iris

I hope I haven't posted these photos before. It's getting hard to keep track, especially since I'm not going around taking photos much any more.

Today's quote:

The teenage years are often like spring, where rainbows follow on the heels of rainstorms.

  1. A joy to see flowers, they really lift the spirits. I like the "rainbows follow on the heels of rainstorms", such emotions are probably not just restricted to the teenage years! :-)

    1. Definitely...rainstorms (and tornadoes and hurricanes) just seem right around every bend these days! I need to look for more rainbows!

  2. Sometimes I can't remember if I have posted something before, but no matter there are always different folks looking hopefully. What a beautiful color. our county you can go to a gym but they have closed all the forestry roads, go figure, we like to take a drive on a particular one in the spring to see all the wild flowers. Our iris are still growing; they are in part shade so will take a while.

    1. I am glad there are south facing flowers around these buildings. Yes, forrest hiking has been prohibited all over the place...strange decision.

  5. I love flame azaleas! We have a few wild ones back in the woods but none where we can see them, alas!

    1. Ours aren't doing very well...many of the bushes seem half dead.

    1. Yes, but part of appreciating them is knowing they are momentary.
