It's a very brief show, and will only be up until March 9.
Here's one of the nature journals which are part of the exhibit. (A class would take their journals out in nature and record what they saw.)
I love this large snail painting!

...how neat it would be to do this!
ReplyDeleteCreativity is alive in every one of us. Some of us on computers, or with cameras, some with paint, some with clay. And classes are available most places for whatever techniques you might want to learn.
DeleteHello, the journal images are wonderful. I love the last heron image, what is that made of wood?. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI think it's Pyrography. It looks like wood burning perhaps. And acrylic paint for the color. Fun!
DeleteI really like the idea of a nature journal. The page shown is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSince the class joined a nature walk which was scheduled by the Rec. Dept, I had to wonder if the journalling class slowed everyone down, or just peeled off and did their own thing separate from the others.
DeleteOoh, I love the leaves in the journal! And that last piece with the heron!
ReplyDeleteThere's more coming soon!
Deletethose leaves look like they are quilted; love the chipmunk and the snail
ReplyDeleteThey are just realistically drawn.
