As you drive into Lake Lure NC (just butted up against the town of Chimney Rock) it's easy to miss this site, as it's lower than the new bridge. But the parking lot to the left shows that it's a site worth pausing to see.

ReplyDeleteHalf the time Helen and I were trying to figure out what a blossom was. Some of the beds had numbers and a sheet of definitions for them, but we'd always seemed to find something that didn't have an explanation.
