Iris

 Which came first? The goddess of rainbows, Iris...

 or the varieties of flowers, Iris?



 The tan/white flowering bush is what the landscapers put into the middle of an existing bed of iris.  Oh well...nice variety of leaf forms.

    You have a really nice variety of iris! I have only white. I was gifted some purple, next year I will have a little more variety.

    a lovely plant the Iris and that was my mother's name. Somehow I don't have any luck growing them.
