Norman Rockwell

A forgery story...
I love his works, and many others do too.

Recently on FBk under a group that likes Illustrations, someone posted this Rockwell. I didn't remember seeing it, even when I saw an exhibit of all his Saturday Evening Post covers at the High Museum in Atlanta. But then, there were a LOT of them.

Here's the post about the forgery...interesting, and do you think it is a true story?

  1. Hello,

That is an interesting story on the forgery and why there was a forgery. Trachte must not have trusted his wife. Enjoy your day and week ahead!

  2. Something about once you cross the line into illegal life, there's a lack of honor, a wealth of suspicion...seems to be that way to me.
