Feb 9 a sunny warm day, and Miss Amaryllis is doing fine!

| Feb. 10 the rains began, but first here's the first bloom, like a new baby! |
The reason I'm such a proud amaryllis mom is that this plant only produced leaves last year, but then I kept it all summer with leaves feeding the bulb for trying this year, put it in the fridge for a few weeks, and it produced leaves in Dec, and then one stalk began in Jan, and has stretched out to form these 3 buds. I'm ecstatic. It doesn't take much to make me happy these days, does it?
