I have a bar shaped phone like the one on the right, no contract, in the car for emergencies, and I don't even know its number! That is as close to having a cell phone as I get :)
I have a closet full of old phones too. The flip phone was handy, but harder to text. I do love my iPhone. I'm not really big into the growing technology, but iPhones are the best... and to be honest, I hardly ever *talk* on it. It's just great to have so much communication at your fingertips.
Not only remember them, my husband still has one. Next time we'll have to get him a new phone since Verizon no longer supports his old one. Since we don't get cell service at home, I have an iPod that does everything but be a phone. Our cell phones are for the car.

ReplyDeleteAnd you're on FaceBook these days! Oh my!
Deletewhat do you mean we still have one. Ha. Remember the bag phones?
ReplyDeleteThat must be the ones that were huge with an antenna sticking out. THen even littler ones you needed to pull up the antenna!
DeleteMy little clamshell phone was always so handy and could fit into small places.
ReplyDeleteI do love carrying the internet in my pocket now, but yes, the smaller size was good too!

ReplyDeleteI don't have a smart phone or an ipad -- just a flip phone. No texting for me.
