I've looked at clouds from both sides now

The overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway of Cold Mountain gave a great view of clouds.

Parking at the Pisgah Inn we found clouds rolling up and across the mountain.

Our view before lunch was one which gave little distance upon which to focus.

Yet as our appetites were sated, the sun returned and gave us the beautiful view looking south over the mountains of the Blue Ridge.

Today's Quote:

I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, but only in the present can I act. The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.

  1. There is something so mystical about fog, especially in the mountains.

  4. I too love fog. It always reminds me of "the dragon's breath" from the King Arthur stories...
