Thanks GZ, Eileen and Vicki... I am doing more sculpting with that torn clay assemblage technique. It provides a bit of structural support while most of it is very thin. I'm going to be stretching the technique to the limits in the next month.
Ha ha, Suzi...that's a good guess. Of course if you saw the back side, there's just a feathered tail. I think perhaps something about the evolution of birds from dragons!
