A deity who symbolizes women who died in childbirth...sounds like a good idea for all those women who didn't live through that trauma. But how she would also be considered a warrior goddess, I'm not sure of the connection. But the gesture of her hands and her mouth do lead me to think this woman is wondering, "why me?"
