Grace and Frankie

Oh joy...some of my favorite actors (about my age too)

Martin Sheen
Sam Waterston
Jane Fonda
Lily Tomlin

And I have Netflix streaming thanks to my son.

So I've been greatly enjoying Grace and Frankie for the last week, when I had time to put my feet up and turn on the computer.  No commercials, my friends!

Trailer de Grace and Frankie, la serie de comedia de Netflix

And adult language without being offensive!

Laughing out loud, so my cats wake up and look at me, "Is she talking to me?"

Here's the trailer...in case you happen to have Netflix streaming.
Grace and Frankie

The only downside, there are just 13 episodes, and I'm on 11.  What will I do with myself?  Oh, "Get a life," you say?   You're not the first.

  1. I am sure there are other films you can watch, we have dish and I record movies but have to ff through the commercials if there are any, a pain but so worth it. after the end of the year we're going to cancel i think, too expensive.

    1. I do get to watch a zillion older films, but not the premium ones on Netflix streaming. And I did record a bunch while I still had TV cable, on VCR's and I actually still have 2 VCR players. They are reaching their expiration dates however, and are getting tossed after they get all tangled in the machine a few times. TV used to also be available (with commercials too) to stream on line, but they now are charging for it. Shh! at least PBS still is free, so I get to see their shows the night after they were broadcast.

  2. Oh Barbara -- I thought this series was wonderful. I so dislike all the murder and sex videos -- refreshing to watch this one. Have you watched "the good wife?" It is a mature movie, many episodes but worth getting addicted to -- at least I thought so. --- barbara

    1. I couldn't get into yet another lawyer series. Thank heaven Grace and Frankie was more about the home life, and not the law. There are so many problems with it (our legal system), it's depressing.

  3. I also love Grace and Frankie. At first I had a little trouble believing the Martin Sheen/Sam Waterson relationship. They even seemed a little uncomfortable with it themselves. But I do enjoy the show. I also recently discovered "Last Tango in Halifax" and I can highly recommend it as well. Takes a while to overcome thinking of Derek Jacobi as someone other than Claudius or Brother Cadfael but still another good series.

  4. I streamed the whole season in 3 nights! I loved it and hope it isn't a year before a new season comes out.
