Once a year, Black Mountain Center for the Arts hosts a gallery exhibit that is beautiful for just a few days. There are art pieces chosen by florists of the area, and then they create a floral arrangement to go with the art, which are displayed together in the BMCA gallery. The best of the display is on Thurs. evening when dinner is served...for a fund-raising ticket of course.
Then Friday and Saturday are garden tours at area homes, with volunteers to show the ticketed guests around these gardens. I'm a volunteer, and have been for the last several years.
I was thrilled to see that a poet is also involved this year in the festivities, Fred Chappel, who will give a free reading on Saturday afternoon at BMCA.

And don't miss the free exhibit of the art which is painted in the gardens by Plein Air artists and will be on display from June 22 to July 17 at BMCA.

DeleteWhat an event the Black Mountain Center for the Arts has planned. My favorites in your post are the cottage garden home. art in bloom and Mr. Chappell. Favorite in your header is the tree of life plate. Have fun everyone.
