Walk - Part 3 the White Flowers

We started out the other day with these lovely flowers (probably Bittersweet)

Within a few yards of them I also saw these other white flowers...a bit more common.

Daisy Fleabane
Honeysuckle...I always want to pic a few and pull the stamen through the bottom to get that drop of nectar.  But I left it for any little pollinators this time.

Mountain Laurel is also native here.

Today's Quote:

In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer

  1. it's amazing what grows wild in the mountains

  2. The Mountain Laurel has been spectacular around here this season. So lovely looking through the woods.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Since I didn't know the 1000+ people who supposedly looked at my blog the other day, I'm back to moderating comments. If that doesn't help, I don't know why blogger doesn't have a filter that stops this hacking...
