So here I've finally edited the photos and want to share them. This is a great walk for those of us who want to find early spring wildflowers - which we did in abundance. Taking their photos also slowed down the walk so I never got out of breath.
Having an avid wildflower buddy to go with me helped with pointing out things I missed, and vice versa.

that looks like a great spot, love the easy walk there are so many waterfalls in these parts I am amazed, we saw one the other day but had to ford a creek to drive to the location so we decided to wait till we had the jeep club with us, just in case our jeep got stuck.
ReplyDeleteGreat to be able to drive in some of those dirt roads that go where lumber trucks used to go.
DeleteLooks like a wonderful place for a walk...
ReplyDeleteTaking walks in the woods after a cold winter is a fun thing to do. It looks like you still have a lot of greening to do.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, and I'm looking forward to it! I went further into the Piedmont the other day and was shocked at the warmer temps as well as how much had already bloomed.
DeleteWhat a wonderful place for a ramble!
