Impressionistic glazes
Color on leafy areas, starkness of structure on the trunk...playing with what happens when glazes are applied with more abandon.
The spring pallet of colors...
Is it really a tree, or a cactus with blooms in profusion around it?
The spectrum of colors are reminiscent of stained glass, with the dark incised lines of twigs among bright but undefined rainbow hues.

Such fun to see the variety!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki...I borrowed your Forsythia in snow pic today for my desktop image. I have neither (snow/forsythia).
DeleteThe second one is my favorite. Something about it. Oh, and I noticed these don't seem as curved as your others. I like them both ways. I'm glad my tree shrine is curved though, and it's my very favorite of them all. Well, it and the crow shrine. So far my two favorites. Good thing, since I've got them, haha! Thanks once again for sharing, Barb.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Rosie, so glad to hear from you here!
