Vase and buds

Spring flowers need vases, right?

This vase is in the studio in the window display of Student's Work (and it's for sale!)

The Floating Blue glaze comes most of the way down outside, but then the vase was dipped into Raspberry over it, up to the bulge creating a mottled blue. And for some interest in the blue area, a bit of Plum glaze was trailed over it which changes to nice drippy flows of deeper blue.

Perhaps next week I'll cut some redbuds and put in the vase to enjoy inside!
