Ceramics-To-Table Movement

Who knew that I'm part of a movement, again?
Well, Ceramics-To-Table sounds great to my ears.

And in case you haven't read about us in the NY Times on Dec. 16,'s the link.

Yes, other potters posted it first.  But I want to save it here, as well as share with any friends who aren't ceramic artists.  It's getting to be that you either make pottery or love least I'm surrounded by people like that.  Wonder why.

Thank you for all who are enjoying the hand crafted art for your food experiences!

Thought for today:

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.

  1. I hadn't seen that article, thanks! It is well-intentioned and good, but still has that stupid word "ceramists" and does not define the difference between an independent studio potter and somebody who, with assistants, may use molds, etc. I blogged that the other day....OK, crabby rant over, NO WONDER business is so good, everybody loves pots :)

Looking forward to hearing from you! Since I didn't know the 1000+ people who supposedly looked at my blog the other day, I'm back to moderating comments. If that doesn't help, I don't know why blogger doesn't have a filter that stops this hacking...
