...these are fabulous. The first one is Liriodendron tulipifera—known as the tulip tree, American tulip tree, tulipwood, tuliptree, tulip poplar. It's a common North Carolina tree.
Yes, I identified most of them myself. They are so detailed, but simplified at the same time. She did a very good job and I think her prices are just right for her work.
we are always amazed by the cost of art ... wondering how they come to the price? far as i know we give way to horses (folks riding them) and hiker (walkers) the bike folks ... i must say i don't understand how they come to these thoughts. i mean i don't mean run folks over by any means there just when some one is there ... i would think one would stay to the right or left ...if you need to pass you need to tell them you are coming around them ...
I think her prices are substantiated when you look at her drawings, the sketches she did before making the paintings. I have path difficulties right on sidewalks outside my door. People will stand in the middle of a path, and I don't know whether or not they are hard of hearing, but I want to walk around them, so I usually say something inane like, 'It's a beautiful day." Then the people in electric wheelchairs are zooming by, and I usually stand still waiting for them to pass, but the young lady who just passed by me, simply road around in another direction to avoid passing close to me. Yes, it's all about courtesey.
The new exhibit sounds enchanting—trees in art can be so captivating! Sycamore blossoms make for a beautiful subject. Wishing you a fantastic week ahead! Check out my new style post:(https://www.melodyjacob.com/2024/08/uoozee-church-outfit-review.html). Thank you!
