Happy customers

A beautiful day last Saturday, and this mother and daughter seemed pretty happy to go home with a tall vase of mine, (dragonfly) and a berry bowl of Cathy Babula's (already wrapped!)

The two of us had such fun representing the Mud Buddies...and will be here another week by ourselves at the Tailgate Market.  (Behind the First Baptist Church on Montreat Rd, in case you're coming to town.)

The Holiday Market at same location will have all 5 of us with lots of new things for sale on Sat. Nov. 19,(10-1 pm) the last of our outdoor sales this year.  Whew! It's been a long 6 months, and this year the Mud Buddies managed to be there for all but one market (due to high wind forecasts from Hurricane Matthew, but the weather didn't really happen).

Thanks for following my blog and all my posts about this adventure. As a hobby potter, I've been rubbing shoulders with some of the professionals when they have sales at other venues (Dillsboro, Art by the Tracks, Spruce Pine, and various galleries.)

The vase at the top of this post (with orange Freesia flowers) will be at the market this Sat!

I'm not finished for the year yet...with several indoor shows still to come, just look up at the list above right under the header!

Today's quote:

"It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living."
— David Attenborough

    1. It sold as a second, though I had wanted to have it for my fall shows, the base broke off and had to be glued back. Thanks very much. It will take another year before I make anything quite that intricate!
