Autumn pottery






Ah, the influence of squash and pumpkin and acorns...these jars are glazed much more patterned than I anticipated.

    And, that is a pretty glaze. I so wish we could get speckled brown stoneware over here. There is absolutely nothing as beautiful as this clay here. You are fortunate :)

  3. Thanks everyone. I looked at 4 of these jars, and felt overwhelmed by their spots...but taken one at a time, I'm pleased enough. Having a jury of "my peers" (which includes folks that I really look up to) has made my day!
