A Dali' A Day -3

Gala Contemplating the Mediterranean Sea which at a distance of 20 meters is transformed into the portrait of Abraham Lincoln

.Dalí painted two original versions of this painting spanning from 1974 – 1976, which are similar but not exactly the same. The first resides in the Dalí Theatre and Museum in Figueres, Spain. The second resides in the permanent collection of The Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I took the photo closer than 20 meters, but if you look quickly across it, you'll get the Lincoln Portrait.

A Dali' a Day -2

I came to this exhibit because it offered to compare some of Dali's work with Impressionists. That came later in my tour.

A Dali' A Day

Entering into the exhibit of Dali's Museum in December 2023, I took a lot of photos. And I tried to catch most of the descriptions of the art.

And updates on my attempt to go back to the studio after 5 years.

Son Marty gave me a gift of visiting the Salvador Dali' Museum in Dec. 2023. That's him in the blue jacket.

The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me,
apparently two, really one, seek unity and that is love.
