Sculptural Sepia Saturday

I'm a sculptor...a potter, and a blogger.
So where is my work to share with this Sepia Saturday topic?  Ah, I'm looking for it!

I like to carve into the surface, then paint the shapes with different glazes, so there's the bas relief sculpted, but also colored permanently in water-color-like tints.

Raku glazed goddess figure.

A tree goddess of the wind lamp.

Vase with leaves.

Simple tile that can be hung on the wall.

Moon Dancer goddess.

Unfinished dragon mask.

Come see other's posts about sculpture or something else...

  6. Congratulations on sneaking The Lady With the Lamp in there to match the medical theme :) She's my favourite.

  7. I can't choose a favorite. They're all very special. The tree goddess has me thinking of Tiffany. And the mask has me thinking of New Years in Chinatown. Great work.

  8. Very nice work. Sepia Saturday themes are best when they bring out creative and unusual material which we might not read about in regular posts. The dragon mask captures just the right expression.
