 Since the opening a couple of weeks ago, some art has already sold,but these enjoyable works are still on display...

Last day of Emerging Artists show

Nice technique with rough materials, probably added early on...but I'm not sure, they looked like tiny beads...all the same size as opposed to sand, and then probably something else that was different textures.

Emerging Artists at BMCA, part 2

A few of the artists' works that are on display at Black Mountain Center for the Arts...
In their classes they use photographs that are then sketched with a grid system onto a canvas.  Then they use their paints to replicate the original photos.  Some of them are beautiful works.  Some still need to keep practicing.  But that's the way with all students everywhere.

BMCA Emerging Artists 2019

This show of paintings by students at the Center for the Arts will be up until April 5, 2019.
