Way down upon the Swannanoa

The Friends Meeting House (Quakers) in Black Mountain has a sweet little monk in the garden, perhaps St. Francis.
And it is at the confluence of two streams, forming the Swannanoa River, which travels along to Asheville to join the French Broad.

Looking downstream, which travels more or less west.

There's a loving hand(s) at work on making this pretty spot more beautiful with gardens and paths.

It was nice to walk around and enjoy the peace and almost quiet.  The railroad tracks also run right on the other side of the river, and I was greeted by our familiar train for some of my walk.

Today's quote:
As we move deeper into meditation, the state of our mind expands thus allowing us to create more space within our body.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Since I didn't know the 1000+ people who supposedly looked at my blog the other day, I'm back to moderating comments. If that doesn't help, I don't know why blogger doesn't have a filter that stops this hacking...
