A busy day at the Black Mountain Clay Studio.

Mathilda, Molly, Roberta and Pat were hard at work on the wheels on Monday.
Charles has an order of some nice jugs waiting to glaze a plum color.
Molly has a great tile collection to frame a mirror, as well as blue mugs and bowls.
I worked a while on Mon. on the dragon mask.
It's really nice to not feel any pressure to work fast on it. So I take my time, skipping a day or two if I need to.
I'm sending this to MudColony today! I hope it's working again. Oh it says it doesn't open till Thurs. morning. SO I'll send it in the morning, but go ahead and post this now.
Thanks for dropping by.

gosh, such a CLEAN studio!
ReplyDeleteIt is monitored pretty closely, and that's why it's so great to work there. It's actually easier to clean up than mine at home.
DeleteThe mask is looking great.

ReplyDeleteThanks Lori, somehow I posted your comment twice. Or did you make 2? Anyway, love to have praise, just like any animal being petted!
ReplyDeleteHi from another Mud Colony contributor - that's a great studio space! Looking forward to seeing more about your dragon :^)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna...it sure is a nice community studio. I've been going there for 4 years, almost ever since it re-opened. In an old city garage building.
DeleteLove the mask Barb!!! Can't wait to see it finished! The studio looks like a lovely place!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of your clean studio, it looks great.
