Our dog park

OK, it's not called the Dog Park officially

When you follow signs to the River Walk Park...going around the back side of Bi-Lo Grocery store, which is on Hwy 9 just at the intersection of I-40, there is this sign.

A path leads to a fenced in area...with a double gate for no dogs to escape from, and a gazebo for dog owners to sit in and chat.

And I arrived just in time to meet these lovely bassets.

Their owner said she had missed getting a great picture the other day, but I think they were fabulous looking, and I was so glad to get this shot.

Then there is an eagle nest live here...with one hatched out this morning, and the other egg still being well tended.  It's near Raleigh NC.  http://www.ustream.tv/jordanlakeeagles
